Service Center (office) locations
Lake Country Power is local to its surrounding communities with service centers in Grand Rapids, Kettle River and Mountain Iron, Minnesota.
The Grand Rapids service center is located west of Grand Rapids on Highway 2 at 2810 Elida Drive, Grand Rapids, MN 55744.
The Kettle River service center is located south of Kettle River on Highway 73 at 4065 Hwy 73 South, Kettle River, MN 55757.
The Mountain Iron service center is located north of Highway 169, not far from L&M Supply, at 8535 Park Ridge Drive, Mountain Iron, MN 55768.

Medical Alert system
If you have an oxygen tank or other life supportive electrical device that requires electricity at all times, please let us know so we can flag your home for faster outage restoration. Call 800-421-9959 and ask for the call center or e-mail us. The call center will ask for your necessary information and determine whether you qualify for the medical alert system.
Lake Country Power has four departments:
Administrative Services Department
Greets members who call or visit the service centers and answers general co-op questions. Is responsible for financial and control activities, administrative management information systems, capital credits, billing, call center and oversees installation and maintenance of information technology such as automated meter reading software and computer hardware systems.
Member Service and Community Relations Department
Provides technical advice and assistance for special heating and cooling programs to help members save money on monthly electric bills. The department oversees the co-op’s energy efficiency and conservation programs and also coordinates member marketing and communication initiatives. Community outreach and assistance activities, such as Operation Round Up®, are also coordinated through the member service department.
Builds or upgrades your service, helps plan your new service, restores power during outages, builds and designs the electrical system to meet and control right-of-way and vegetation growth near power lines. Strives to exceed the expectations of members by providing safe, reliable and affordable electric service. Invests in innovative solutions that demonstrate value, commitment to members and the area Lake Country Power serves.
Develops, implements and coordinates policies and programs to provide for the maintenance of safe, healthy working conditions throughout Lake Country Power’s outside system operations, service centers and subsidiary construction company. Human resources is also part of the safety department.
Lake Country Power is the recipient of Federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
