Tree Crew Trimmer

Lake Country Power is a Touchstone Energy® cooperative serving 49,000 members in northeastern Minnesota.  We have an opening for a Tree Crew Member in our Grand Rapids service center. 

Tree crews are responsible for tree clearing around Lake Country Power’s electrical distribution lines specific to member’s residences, danger trees along the lines, and storm clean up.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid MN CDL with air brakes; Electrical Hazards Awareness Training; be able to attain a MN Pesticide Applicator’s License within 1 year; excellent customer service skills, and a minimum of 2 years of work experience on a tree crew. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Electrical Engineer

Lake Country Power is a Touchstone Energy® cooperative with 49,000 services in northeastern Minnesota.  We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level Electrical Engineer at our Grand Rapids, MN service center.  This position is responsible for providing electrical engineering services related to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of Lake Country Power’s electric distribution system.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university with a power systems background preferred.  The candidate must have a valid Class D driver’s license; successful completion of the EIT (Engineer in Training) exam is desired.
