Crews work to restore service

September 22, 2017

A strong thunderstorm cell moved through the western and southern parts of Lake Country Power's service area, early Friday morning. The storm left 1,900 members without power at the height. Line crews have been working all day to chainsaw trees from power lines, re-string lines and do other necessary repairs to get everyone back up and running. Lake Country Power expects some outages may last into Friday evening. For additional updates, please stay tuned to the cooperative's Facebook page and Twitter handle, as well as the Outage Map. You'll find photos on Facebook and Twitter.
