Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power welcomes three new lineworkers to the co-op’s operations department – Rick Kosloski of Brainerd, Blake Svoboda of Hill City, and Ryan Vogel of Sturgeon Lake.

Kosloski will report to the co-op’s McGregor Outpost, Svoboda will work from the Grand Rapids Service Center, and Vogel will report from the Kettle River Service Center. 

As journeyman lineworkers, Kosloski and Svoboda will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the cooperative’s electric distribution system, such as building lines and installing line devices. As an apprentice, Vogel will assist lineworkers in the construction and maintenance of Lake Country Power’s electric distribution system while training to become a journeyman.

Kosloski is a graduate of Wadena Technical College electrical lineworker program and most recently worked as a journeyman lineworker with Okay Construction. Svoboda graduated from the Baudette Technical College electrical lineworker program, and most recently worked for Moorhead Electric Inc. Vogel is a graduate of Northwest Lineman College in Denton, Texas, and most recently worked as an apprentice lineworker for Moose Lake Water and Light.
